During the „Golden Port“ event in Hamburg, the city’s harbor will be bathed in golden light from September 24 to October 4, 2026. The occasion marks the 25th anniversary of the musical The Lion King at the Stage Theater. Light artist Michael Batz will bathe well-known buildings and ships in gold, much like the famous „Blue Port“ event.
Dates: September 24 to October 4, 2026 (opening on September 24 aboard the museum ship Cap San Diego).
